I was going to write about Crypto and The Clarity Act, which is currently stalled in the U.S Senate. I will write about that soon.

Tonight, I am going to touch upon another current business headline. As someone who knows quite a bit about Wendy’s from working as a Shift Manager; and someone who has been a stockholder at various times, I do believe I have some knowledge about what is going on.

Back in May, Wendy’s hired Mr. Robert Wright as their newest CEO. Mr. Wright had previously been employed with the company. He is I think, the 4th CEO, in the last 3 plus years.

Mr. Wright has his work cut out for him. He has inherited a host of negative ongoing problems:

    – Same store sales volume are down across the entire system of
    6,000 plus stores.

    – Overall Market Share has dropped now placing them 3rd
    behind Burger King and McDonals.

    – Food Quality continues to be an issue across the board.

    – Brand Execution needing to be stepped up substantially

Mr. Wright has been very honest about the current financial shape of Wendy’s.

Now, I am going to give my personal thoughts to add, and of course you can judge for yourself.

First off, Wendy’s has really gotten away from putting the customer first.

Next, more emphasis needs to be put on what the customer is paying for, Value-wise.

Also, getting back to the basics and less with the trendy marketing tie-ins.

I also believe Wendy’s International should allow the franchisees to be able to have their own local marketing strategies and advertising. This would help with other fast food and dine-in competion.

Lastly, they need to really market their Breakfast offerings. To me, Wendy’s Breakfast menu is far better than any other chain.

I do believe they will be able to “Wright the Ship”, pardon the pun. It is going to take hard work and sacrifice. Overall, even though I am no longer employed with Wendy’s; I will always support and believe in the late founder, Dave Thomas’s vision and principals.

The older I get, I see the World more and more differently than when I much younger.

Being a father of 3 fine younger men and a Grandfather to 3 very energetic much younger persons, makes me realize just how blessed I truly am.

My family means the world to me. I cherish every moment that I get to talk to or spend time with each of them.

Being a Business Owner and a Restaurant Manager, can make balancing an outside life with my family very challenging. But, I am able to do it.

    Switching gears so to speak…..

I will have some updates regarding The Regoli Company soon. The focus on building on all facets of the Business will be growing with every day.

One area that I can give a little bit of an update now is I will be selling advertising space here on blog.regolicompany.com/. Small Business Owners who don't have a website or an avenue to help get their Business and themselves noticed; now is the perfect time to get a hold of me.

    Until next time…….

When a person decides to start or buy an existing business enterprise, he or she has to make many decisions. One of those important decisions is who you can absolutely trust, to involve or surround yourself with. Unfortunately, more often than not, a business owner will get a rude awakening, in the beginning stages of the business startup or enterprise, and find out the hard way.

I am taking the high road here and I am not going to dwell about it. I learned a lot in the last 10 days.

On the positive side, business plans continue to move along. With many outdoor events, both locally and statewide coming up, The Regoli Company will be there. Starting off slowly and building over the Summer and into the rest of 2025.

I know quite a few folks are starting to click on the business webpage and read my blogs. I truly appreciate every one of you. I want to see some feedback; both positive and constructive.

    Until next time…..

The last couple weeks has been sureal.

I believe the world truly lost an exceptional man. A friend of mine, Ken Neel, passed away nearly 2 weeks ago. For almost 40 years, I knew him. And although we hadn’t been as close as we once were; his sudden loss left me devastated. My heart and deepest sympathies go out to his wife, Susan and his step-daughter, Megan; as well as his brother, Richard.

Last week, our area here in Eastern Ohio suffered a lot of weather-related damage along with many power outages. But once again, we all trudged thru this and worked hard to get through it. My gratitude goes out to all the first responders and all the manyUtility Company Crews, from all regions who traveled here to get electric restored. Team Work, is what it is all about.

On the economic front, the numbers continue to show slow growth in both the country and region’s economies. I hope to delve into it more the next time. The Regoli Company continues to move along, one step at a time. Many opportunites for both Company Growth and Positive Impact are on our horizon and plate.

    Until Next Time…..

  • As I See It – Monday Night, April 21st, 2025

It’s hard to believe that we are more than halfway thru the Month of April. Spring is in full swing and the signs are everywhere.

The Hummingbirds are starting to return here in Ohio. One of the many sure signs.Another sure sign of Spring:  Market fluctuations.

The Closing price of WTI Crude Oil today was down $1.60 to $63.08. That is a -2.47% drop from the close last Friday.

I use this as an example because this will affect us, the Average Consumer. Especially if the supply is increased or decreased dramatically.Of course, the Demand for Oil will be on the increase as we get closer to Memorial Day and into the Summer months.

I look for the price to go below $60 a barrel by the end of the April. Beyond that, it is not clear yet where it goes.

Finding a Good Business Name: A Key to Brand Success

Starting a new business is an exciting venture. You have your product or service, your business plan, and the passion to make it succeed. There’s just one tiny detail left to settle on: your business name. Sounds simple, right? However, finding the perfect business name isn’t always easy. It’s a crucial aspect of your branding and a key component to setting your business apart. Here is a guide to help you navigate through the process of finding a good business name.

The Importance of a Good Business Name

Before we dive into the how, let’s briefly address the why. Your business name is more than just a name. It’s the first impression you make on your potential customers, and it sets the tone for what they should expect from your brand. It reflects your identity, communicates your business idea, and creates a connection with your target audience.

    The right business name:

    • Grabs attention and makes your business memorable
    • Reflects your brand identity and values
    • Instills customer trust and credibility
    • Simplifies marketing efforts

    Brainstorming a Business Name

When it comes to brainstorming a business name, there are no hard and fast rules. However, there are helpful guides to steer your creative process:

    1. Reflect Your Brand: Your business name should align with your brand identity. Consider your business goals, target audience, and core values. What do you want your name to convey?

    2. Make it Unique: In a crowded market, a unique name helps you stand out. Avoid generic names or names too similar to existing brands.

    3. Keep it Simple: A good business name is easy to pronounce, spell, and remember. Avoid complicated words or long names that could confuse your audience.

    4. Check for Availability: Once you’ve come up with a few options, check if the domain name is available. Also, ensure the name isn’t trademarked or used by another company.

    5. Seek Feedback: Share your top choices with others. Fresh perspectives can provide useful insights and help determine how your name might be received.

Tools to Help You Find a Good Business Name

Finding a good business name can be a challenging task, especially if creativity isn’t your strong suit. Fortunately, there are several tools available to help you:

    • Business Name Generators: Online tools like Shopify’s Business Name Generator or Namelix generate business name suggestions based on keywords you input.

    • Thesaurus: A thesaurus can help you find synonyms or related words to create a unique name.

    • Domain Name Checkers: Tools like GoDaddy’s Domain Checker can help you verify the availability of your potential business name as a website.

    • Trademark Databases: Checking with your country’s patent and trademark office can ensure your potential business name isn’t already being used or trademarked.

    Conclusion

Finding a good business name is a critical step in launching your business. While it may seem daunting, remember that the perfect name may not come to you overnight. It’s a process that requires time, thought, creativity, and a bit of research. Your business name is a reflection of your brand, your mission, and your promise to your customers. So take your time, follow the guidelines, use the tools available, and most of all, let your passion for your business guide you. The right name is out there, waiting to be discovered. And when you find it, you’ll know you’ve taken a significant step towards your business success.

This involves publishing great content on your social media profiles, engaging with your followers, analyzing your results, and running social media advertisements.

The major social media platforms (at the moment) are Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and Snapchat. Each platform has its own unique audience, making it crucial for businesses to understand the demographics of each site and adapt their marketing approach accordingly.

    ## Benefits of Social Media Marketing

By investing a few hours per week, over 91% of marketers claimed that their social marketing efforts greatly increased their brand visibility and heightened user experience.

    – **Cost-Effective**: Signing up and creating a profile is free for almost all social networking platforms. Being cost-effective is such an advantage because you can see a greater return on investment and retain a bigger budget for other marketing and business payments.

    1. **Set Goals and Objectives**: Having clear goals and objectives will help guide your overall social media strategy. Whether it’s increasing brand awareness, driving traffic to your website, or increasing sales, your goals will determine the type of content you share and how you interact with your followers.

    3. **Use Visuals**: People are more likely to engage with posts that include visuals. Use high-quality images, infographics, or videos to capture your audience’s attention.

    4. **Engagement is Key**: Don’t just post content and forget about it. Make sure to engage with your audience by responding to comments, asking questions, and showing appreciation for their support.

    5. **Analyze and Adjust**: Use the analytics tools provided by social media platforms to track the success of your posts and campaigns. Use this information to adjust your strategy and improve your results over time.

  • Hard Work brings Success – Monday, March 31st, 2025

I have worked very hard pretty much my entire adult life. I believe in working hard, going that extra mile.

The Regoli Company, LLC is going to be built around hard work. I believe in small business and helping others with their businesses and their dreams.

The evolution of The Regoli Company, LLC first began in the Summer of 2007 as Regoli Enterprises; that spun off to Regoli Transport in 2016 thru 2020. In 2023, I renamed it Regoli Holdings, LLC. Throughout the genesis of all these past endeavours, I have kept my business goals high, thru both the good times and bad times.

This journey has made me tough and wiser, I will build upon that now with The Regoli Company, LLC:

Sales & Marketing, Distribution, Investing, Developing Brands & Transportation

I will focus on all of it.
